LA REPVBLICA is an original alternative rock band by the brothers Daniel Moya and Juan Moya from Colombia with a decade of experience. The band has influences in Latin American rhythms, blues, and alternative rock and have a strong commitment to singing for peace and social justice. The band began their career in 2011 in the USA in Goshen, IN, and played extensively in the region and in Chicago, IL until 2014, after which they have traveled and toured in Mexico and Colombia.

Their first album entitled “Aquí Estamos (Here We Are)”, was released in 2013, which took them to different cities across the United States such as Chicago, New York, Washington, Baltimore, Atlanta, Dallas, Austin, among others.

In 2015 the band began a new phase in Mexico City, where they played in several music venues and festivals, including the Metropolitan Theater. In 2018 and 2019 the group toured Colombia and internationally in Mexico and Europe with it’s EP “Solitarios Soñadores”.

Between 2020-2021, La Repvblica released 4 new singles: “Abrázame Fuerte”, “Sábado en la Mañana”, “Ciudad de Luz” and “Quetzalcóatl” and “Ojalá”. In 2022, the band released “Mirar At”ás” and “Esfera Azul”.
