Casks for a Cause – Brain Injury Connections

In honor of Traumatic Brain Injury/Concussion Awareness month, September’s Casks for a Cause will be benefiting Brain Injury Connections of the Shenandoah Valley, which enhances the lives of individuals affected by brain injury through cultivating connections with information, services, and resources.
Founded in 2005 as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, Brain Injury Connections combines public and private resources to provide specialized services for persons affected by brain injury.
Their services are designed to meet the needs of the individuals they serve to maximize the person’s independence in the community.
Case Managers provide an array of services to meet their clients’ needs, including assistance with employment and education, daily living and personal care, housing, finances, healthcare, and many others.

The taproom will open at 1 pm with…
-The tapping of the cask infusion (TBA). The proceeds from each pint sold will be donated to BICSV.
-A silent auction for the framed event poster with the winning bid amount going to BICSV.
-BICSV set up with an informational table and taking additional donations.

Come out to help out this wonderful cause by buying a pint from the cask and participating in the silent auction for the framed poster for the event. All proceeds from the cask and the silent auction will go to the BICSV and their cause.
