The art of brewing has been a part of our family heritage since our first ancestors came to America from Austria in the early 1900’s. What had been reserved for gatherings of family and friends is now open to the public!

The old Elkton Milling Company building was built in 1890 in the federal architectural style. The massive interior chestnut pillars are a beautiful rarity. The solidity of brick, and wood from ancient trees, draws the visitor into a bygone era of construction. Opened in February, 2020 this amazing space is the perfect home of the Elkton Brewing Company. Elkton Brewing Company is a small craft brewery specializing in natural artisan beers, concentrating less on volume and more on quality craftsmanship. Elkton Brewing Co. is easy to find, being perfectly located in the center of Elkton, Virginia. Nestled up against the Blue Ridge Mountains, EBC is just down from Skyline Drive’s Swift Run entrance, a minute off of highway 33, five minutes from Massanutten Resort, and about fifteen miles East of Harrisonburg and I-81.
