All In One Place Fest

All In One Place Fest is an all day music fest in loving memory of Chet Waid, an avid music supporter and friend to all. He always said the bands made him travel too much in one day, but that he had to see them all. So we decided to honor the dancing hippie himself by having some of his favorite bands All In One Place.
Featuring GypsyTown, Randy Black Trio, Who Shot John, The Hackens Boys, Thieves of Burden and The Seven Bends.
Located at The Foundry in Waynesboro VA. This is Basic City Brewery’s beautiful new music venue.
This will be a FREE SHOW!! We encourage & will be accepting donations for WVU children’s hospital in Chet’s name as well for any expenses. You can donate with cash at the event or electronically via Venmo or PayPal with the description “Chet” or “All in One Place”

Chet Waid is the reason for celebration on this day! The dancing old hippie’s festival includes all the bands in one place that made him run around all these years. He brought so many together through kindness, love and music and he will be dearly missed. All the bands performing in this festival were some of his favorites in the area. His taste was for good music no matter the genre (although the Grateful Dead would always be the top of the list). You could always find him sitting front and center getting lost in the music until his feet couldn’t resist but to get up and start moving. He was such a colorful and loving person like the tie dyed clothes he would wear. He was truly considered family by so many outside and alongside his own. We will all cherish the time we got to spend, stories told, stories made and every memory we have with Chet.

Randy Black Trio
Randy Black’s musical journey began at age 7 with piano lessons. He then started playing guitar in high school and joined his first band and began performing. Randy performed with many bands during his college years at Radford University, and began learning how to improvise on stage, something that would forever shape his approach to music. He hasn’t stopped playing since, entertaining as a solo artist and in bands. He has shared the stage with many musicians over the years, including Levon Helm from The Band, Muddy Waters guitarist Bob Margolin and Leon Russell: one of the best rock and country pianists of our time. During these years, Randy has developed into a professional performer in a number of different styles and genres.

Who Shot John
Formed by frontman John Douglas in early 2010, Who Shot John has continued to develop their own unique style influenced by their love of rock, soul, and blues music. They have entertained crowds with their passionate and engaging performances at venues and festivals throughout Virginia and North Carolina. Their full length album, The Frame, features 10 original tracks and is available on most major streaming and download services. They continue to write, record, and travel throughout the region to entertain and engage fans.

The Hackens Boys are an electrifying four-piece band consisting of lead vocalist Spencer Wenger, bassist Jake Stover, guitarist Daniel Barnett, and percussionist Tyler Thomas. Their bond over music runs so deep that they often feel like brothers, despite not sharing any blood relation. The camaraderie and mutual respect they share is evident in the way they create and perform their unique blend of music.
The Hackens Boys are an electrifying four-piece band consisting of lead vocalist Spencer Wenger, bassist Jake Stover, guitarist Daniel Barnett, and percussionist Tyler Thomas. Thieves Of Burden
Hailing from the Shenandoah Valley, Thieves of Burden is a Modern Alt Rock & Roll Band. After forming in 2016 the Thieves have been performing ever since. With deep lyrics pulled from a folk singer songwriter background, driven by the forward push of guitars, and held together by the soul of a strong rhythm section brings a sound of its own. Playing the music from feel and emotion the Thieves create a full sound bound to keep your attention from start to finish.
