About Us.

The Friendly Fermenter is Harrisonburg's first brew-on-site brew shop where customers can make their own beer in an instructed setting. Brew-on-site or pick up brewing supplies for your own DIY beer making at home.

Along with a fully stocked homebrew supply shop, The Friendly Fermenter also features a small commercial nanobrewery offering homebrew inspired beers weekly and are only available in our tasting room. In addition to having live music and daily food on-site, we also have games available and are very pet-friendly.
