Ix Flix Free Summer Film Series | Do the Right Thing

Kick off your weekends right this summer with a free film screening every Friday night at Ix Flix!
On August 12th Ix Art Park, in partnership with Violet Crown Cinema, presents Do the Right Thing.
On the hottest day of the year on a street in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, everyone’s hate and bigotry smolders and builds until it explodes into violence.
Join us on the outdoor piazza at 6pm for artmaking, family-friendly activities, food trucks, cold drinks and your fave movie snacks. The movie starts at sunset.
Limited seating will be available. Blankets, chairs, and snacks are welcome, but please no tables or plastic ground coverings. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Free admission is underwritten by Molson Coors with support from Champion Brewery, Three Notch’d Brewery, Basic City Brewery, Waterbird Spirits and WTJU 91.1FM.
